Fall Ball 2024 Season

Fall Ball is all about fun, skill building, and community. Each team will be a mix of skills levels to keep all games competitive and enjoyable. Sign up with a buddy or by yourself. Those who agree to serve as a Team Captain may sign up with two buddies! There is no player fee to play in the Fall Ball season but your donation to help with lighting costs (as mentioned above) is deeply appreciated. Rainouts are to be expected and those games will not be made up.

The season will run from August 22 – November 1 and games will be played on Thursday and Friday evenings at Lower Woodland Fields.

Fall Ball Late Registration

Late Registration will close on Thursday, August 22 at 5pm.

Suggested $30 Donation – Field Lights

RCS Fall Ball has always been free to all players, due to Seattle Parks & Rec donating the fields to RCS to promote community building. New this year however, Seattle Parks & Recreation has asked us to pay for the cost of lighting the fields for evening play – approximately $4500. Based on the typical fall ball roster of 150 players, this comes out to $30/person. If you are able, please consider donating to help cover this cost.

League Schedule & Standings

The Fall Ball schedule will be posted weekly and the standings will be updated when all outstanding scores are reported via the online form.

Fall Ball Game Guidelines

  • Captains will Roche Cham Bo for Home/Away
  • Games will be self-officiated and close calls can be determined by a quick Rock/Paper/Scissors or Roche Cham Bo (it’s the same thing)
  • Games will end at 50 minutes of play
  • Courtesy Runners – 3 runners per inning
  • No Drop-in Players (Everyone must be a registered Fall Ball Player!)
  • Pick Up Players – must be RCS members
  • Teams should have a minimum of 8 players on the field. No outs for missing batters #9 and #10
  • Late players can be added at any time to the bottom of the roster
  • 6 runs max per inning.
  • The pitch count will start at 0:0 with no courtesy fouls
  • Teams agree to the final score and each captian will submit scores online.
